As the Maya train megaproject continues,<br>Fal\u00fa confronts his identity and sense of belonging, caught between preserving<br>his roots and the forces that threaten to erase them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sinopsis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante la construcci\u00f3n del Tren Maya, el proyecto de ingenier\u00eda civil m\u00e1s<br>grande de Am\u00e9rica Latina, Fal\u00fa trabaja en la identificaci\u00f3n y preservaci\u00f3n de<br>restos arqueol\u00f3gicos amenazados por las obras que cruzan la selva, los ceno-<br>tes y otros sitios sagrados de la cultura Maya. Sin embargo, un conflicto inter-<br>no lo consume: desea proteger el patrimonio y territorio ancestral, pero se ve<br>forzado a colaborar en el mismo megaproyecto que representa una amenaza<br>para ellos. En este proceso, un nahual aparece en forma de animal, trayendo<br>un mensaje urgente: la tierra de Yucat\u00e1n est\u00e1 siendo herida y profanada.<br>Navegando entre las normas sociales y el legado colonial, Fal\u00fa es un ser<br>queer en tensi\u00f3n, al igual que el animal que el nahual elije para comunicar-<br>se, la vaca tra\u00edda hace muchos a\u00f1os por los espa\u00f1oles. \u00bfQui\u00e9n es el otro?<br>\u00bfQui\u00e9n mira a qui\u00e9n?<br>\u201cLa historia a\u00fan no conoce mi nombre\u201d revela un espacio de complejidades y<br>relaciones, en el que se vislumbran fugazmente las intersecciones transiciona-<br>les de las narrativas humanas y no humanas, de la tecnolog\u00eda y la naturaleza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the construction of the Tren Maya, Latin America\u2019s largest civil engi-<br>neering project, Fal\u00fa works to identify and preserve archaeological remains<br>endangered by the project\u2019s route through jungles, cenotes, and other sacred<br>sites of Mayan culture. However, an internal conflict consumes him: he longs<br>to protect this ancestral heritage and territory, yet he is compelled to collab-<br>orate on the very megaproject that threatens them. In this process, a nahual<br>appears in animal form, bringing an urgent message: the land of Yucat\u00e1n is<br>being wounded and desecrated.<br>Navigating social norms and the colonial legacy, Fal\u00fa, a queer person, is in<br>tension, much like the animal the nahual chooses to communicate through:<br>the cow, brought by the Spanish many years ago. Who is the Other? Who<br>is observing whom?<br>\u201cHistory doesn\u2019t know my name yet\u201d reveals a space of complexities and rela-<br>tionships, offering a fleeting glimpse into the transitional intersections
